DR. JACQUELINE BRUNETTI

Jacqueline C. Brunetti, MD is the Owner and Head Physician of Evolved Science, Naples. Prior to opening her Naples practice, she was the Director of Radiology at Holy Name Medical Center in New Jersey, as well as a part-time Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology at New York Presbyterian Medical Center, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons until 2023.
In 2011, in order to satisfy questions that arose in observing the changing practice of medicine and the increasing number of patients visiting the Emergency Department, Dr. Jackie enrolled in Dr. Andrew Weil’s two-year distance learning Fellowship in Integrative Medicine. In February 2015, she successfully passed the Integrative Medicine Board exam.
Dr. Jackie has held a private pilot’s license since 1992 and has logged over 600 hours in single engine and turboprop airplanes. Combining her passion for flying and her medical profession, she has been a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner since 2000, and was named FAA Designated Employee examiner in 2013, expanding her practice to Air Traffic Controllers.
Dr. Jackie has authored numerous articles, book chapters, and is an international presenter. She is a member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, the American College of Radiology, American College of Nuclear Medicine, the Society of Integrative Oncology, The Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine, and The Aerospace Medical Association, and she is a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine. She has been listed yearly in Castle Connolly Guide of Top Doctors from 2001–2023.
DR. JONATHAN VAN HEERTUM

Along with his role as a physician at Evolved Science, Jonathan Van Heertum, D.O. is the Attending Physician and Associate Director of Emergency Medicine at Physicians Regional – Pine Ridge located in Naples, FL.
Dr. Jonathan is board certified in emergency medicine, and is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, American College of Emergency Physicians, and American Osteopathic Association.
His career in emergency medicine began in 2011 during his residency at Saint Michaels Medical Center in Newark, NJ, followed by residencies at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, FL. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, and received his Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medicine Certification from Rutgers University and his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Moravian College.
Dr. Jonathan is fascinated with the idea of using science to help people, which is why he got into medicine. His career in emergency medicine allowed him to take care of patients, who were at their most vulnerable, while utilizing a wide variety of medical knowledge and skills on a daily basis. Continuing on his osteopathic medical career, Dr. Jonathan is excited to refocus his work from saving people’s lives to improving their day-to-day living through preventative care.
He currently lives in Naples, FL with his wife and two children. As a life-long martial artist and amateur bodybuilder, he enjoys staying active and healthy, encouraging others to do the same, and spending time with his family.
